The worst thing that could have happened there is Ford knocking out Perez IMO. He would have never fixed his flaws.

Good rd for Ford, landing some big shots, he's taken over after slowing Perez with body shots. 5-2 Ford going into the final rd

Good fight, good learning experience for Ford. 78-74 Ford on my card, don't think this will be the last we see of Perez. Ford showed some flaws on defense, but again, he's only 21, think this fight will certainly help him and he came through the test.
