I am not making a big deal out of it. I was just letting the other poster know that Whitaker did not have "spectacular" defence against Tito. I mean Trinidad landed 50% of his shots so I think we can all agreed Whitaker did not have spectacular defence against Tito.

Because Pea actually landed more punches in the fight. The difference to the judges, was probably DLH's 3 to 1 advantages in power shots. Close fight and very good performance by a past prime Whitaker.

I think it was controversial. First, Whitaker scored a knockdown and 2nd, the scores were ridiculous - five point difference for ODLH. At least a draw or a split decision would have sufficed. I thought it was a close fight.

For some reason, judges hate Sweetpea. First it was Ramirez fight, and then the Chavez fight and then ODLH. Poor guy.
