Rivas is entertaining against the right opponents, his fight against Jennings was enjoyable. Don't see much of a future with this "bridgerweight" division (even if I get the concept). Wish he was fighting more compelling opponents whether they be at BW or HW.

The lowdown on the ‘Bridgerweight’ Division ⋆ Boxing News 24 - Confirmed sign ups
and this is the ****ing thread confirming it is a ****ing Bridgerweight fight you dumb ****. Boxrec does not recognize Bridger yet. Hence having no bridger ratings nor bridger scheduled fights. Ya ****ing moron.
Rivas is rated No. 1 in the WBC's new weight class, Bridgerweight (200 to 224 lbs.), and he and Louis will participate in the Bridgerweight's inaugural fight. - RANDOM HITS AKA Boxing Scene
Dumb prick.
Boxrec would be irrelevant because the original date the fight was announced was at heavyweight which the link I provided shows but you still went on another mindless rant and posted without thinking as always to try and finally say you were right , sorry buddy it’s another L for you on here .
O.K let’s make this simple ****** for you , the original post I posted was a contest at heavyweight . They recently changed it and after correcting you , you then went back to your original point as though you were rightful along . Sorry it doesn’t work like that you were wrong initially and you’re still wrong now about how the list was created . Not one fighter signed on to be at BW to get the list started . The WBC made the list according to who is most likely within the limits and waited to see who would be on board , some fighters were for it and still some haven’t confirmed it .
Heres the initial announcement of the BW class ,everything was speculative, they even linked Wilder with the class ,so asking everyone to sign to create the class would be dumb .
WHO WILL COMPETE FOR THE BRIDGERWEIGHT TITLE?
One major name linked with the new division is Deontay Wilder, a former WBC heavyweight champion who lost the title in February when Tyson Fury became the first man to inflict a professional defeat upon 'The Bronze Bomber'.
It could also be a future target for Oleksandr Usyk, who in 2018 unified the cruiserweight division before stepping up to heavyweight. His unanimous decision win over Dereck Chisora on Oct. 31 had many onlookers wondering if the Olympic gold medalist can dethrone the big division's top fighters such as Fury and Anthony Joshua.
Should Usyk taste professional defeat for the first time in his quest for heavyweight gold, he could conceivably attempt to become a two-weight world champion by competing for the bridgerweight belt.
In addition, many current cruiserweights may view the "bridgerweight" division as a way of gradually working their way up to heavyweight contention.
“However, there will be a six-month grace period to handle correctly each situation and any fighter listed in bridgerweight may compete in the heavyweight division... [the] new division... is the necessary bridge to serve the large number of boxers who are between 200 and 224 pounds”
see they list the eligible fighters but they don’t have to fight at Bridgerweight they can still fight at heavyweight , get it now ?
See simple ****** for you . HaLast edited by REDEEMER; 03-10-2021, 11:30 AM.
