Shields claim to the GWOAT is laughable. There are 15+ women in women's boxing history with significantly better resumes than her, plus they pass the eye test better than she does.

Boxing pays by asses in the seats, views and sponsors. If you don't bring in viewers and sponsors, you don't get paid the big $. I find it funny this low IQ scumbag is talking about equal pay but not equal work. Men fight 12 rounds with 3 minutes per round in a championship fight, women fight 10 rounds with 2 minutes per round... why not equal work? Oh, that's right, these pieces of sheeit just want the pay without the work. Not long ago this scumbag's brother sucker punched her opponents trainer, putting him in the hospital. This scumbag always talks about being able to beat men and sparring them, yet advocated against fighting trans... if you can beat GGG, fight him then. I would gladly pay PPV to see this scumbag knocked out. She is a no class loud mouth and no ambassador for the sport. She has fought nobody worth a damn but thinks she is on Floyd's level.

I doubt the viewing numbers were the same. For some reason, Broner has a big fanbase still.

Broner's fight competed with Valdez vs Berchelt and did lower numbers because of that. Had Shields fought on that same night it would've did less than half the views that Broner did. These dumbass "journalists" are using cherry picked numbers to try and force their moronic viewpoint.

Boxing will never die, neither will women's boxing. It'll just get bigger and better with the future female crop. Never will it disappear.
Some legitimate points here mixed with some deep seated chauvinism, but there's a simple solution: Don't watch it.

Katie Taylor grinding out skillfully with McCaskill or Persoon, technically, looks more aesthetic than some of these lauded male bums.
