Anyone notice the best Brits take more risks than most US fighters?

I don't know if its just me,but I get the feeling that US fighters(champs) take less risk than the best Brits,it seems like even when everyone expects them to lose they take risks to make big fights, while us fighters make every excuse & roadblock into insurmountable hurdle thats Supposedly out of their control. Look at Smith taking on Canelo despite being undefeated lineal champ,& now Saunders is cashing in of course, but still hes faced better than Plant by miles(both have)& compare that to Plant who imo ducked once if not twice,& hasn't faced anyone since vacant title,& might duck again for all we know & look at Taylor going from war to war.

Look at Fury & even AJ to lesser extent compared to Tank Davis & many more.

What does everyone think do British boxing/fans take a lot of undeserved sht while many US fighters stay bum slaying?

I should also mention that I used to think the exact opposite,& lmao that bums like Shyte can sell out arenas, but Brits have convinced me that even though the fans will turn out for any top 10 brit, they still demand their fighters step up & hound them til they do.

In the US only certain fighters get hounded & despite most not drawing flies to sht til they beat the best, they still refuse to take risks 95% of time unless forced into it by circumstances.

Quality over quantity. I consider someone like Josh Taylor from that area a semi-bum. The quality of British boxers has always been questionable. Their bums are MASSIVE down there, our champs are bums over here.

Has Fury taken a single risk in his career?

He's fought for titles when he had nothing at stake. Well at some point you have to do that.

But where are all these 'dare to be great' fights?

Happy to reconsider this view if he gets in the ring with Joshua.

Without question, and its not just Brits its most the world. This is not to throw shade on the Americans but they base their worth on their loss catagory and their status.

Its not that they are scared of anybody but a loss or loss of a world title is a financial set back for their worth so they risk assess all possible opposition.

If there is a fair to strong chance they may lose then its not worth the risk. That's why Spence won't fight Crawford. If they were BOTH UK fighters that fight would likely of happened by now.

Its also like the whole 135 circus. Tank, Teo, Haney and Garcia, they all keep circling each other with zero losses but don't actually wana take that final step and fight. They all fancy their chances but risk assessment says these are risks, risks to their financial worth and public standing.

It never used to be like that in American Boxing. This has come from the Money Mayweather era but none of those guys are Floyd.

Its like when Uncle Al told Wilder 120 million Dollars was Floyd training camp money. Well for 1, SO What? Wilder isn't Floyd and for 2, no its not Floyd training camp money. What was Al even trying to say with that statement? Wilder hasnt seen that amount since, Al certainly hasn't paid him that. All that seemed to serve to do was help stop an undisputed fight happen, a fight we all wanted. That's because Joshua was risk assessed and deemed not worth the risk.

You make a good point and back it with facts but the "lesser extent" comment about AJ versus Fury made me laugh. Joshua fights anyone and everyone, Fury fights Sefer Seferi's and Tom Schwartz types whenever possible, and has never made a defense. Joshua is the best example of a champion's attitude. Credit to Dubois and Joyce too, they didn't have to make that fight and it was always going to put a dent in one of their hopes. Also, look at Amir Khan's record of fighting champions. Floyd wanted no part of prime Khan.

Are you taking the p*** mate?

He fought an 11 year undefeated Klitschko in the away corner in Germany, and also fought a 41-0 Wilder in the away corner America. How is that not taking a risk?
