early reports have it doing 2.5 million ppv buys so you are wrong...and sexist!

I bought it, but honestly he does kinda have a point. There is just not enough talent and women starting out at an early age to make competitive entertaining fights as much as you see on the other side. It's an issue that I'm not sure how to fix. So although it may have done well it doesn't seem sustainable.

That said the main even was about as entertaining as Tank vs Gamboa, haha.

Nobody wants to watch women in sports. They will never release release PPV number.

The co-main featured a woman who was 2-1 and had never defeated a fighter who had won a fight (her W's game against someone in their debut and someone 0-1) fighting for a WBC Silver title.

The problem with women's boxing is that it has inherited 100 years of the sins of the father: ****ty business tactics, no oversight, no product development, countless titles in every division that completely erode the credibility. When you count all the straps there are like 10-20 titles in divisions that don't even have 20 registered boxers in the whole division.

Lou Dibella brought this up once and I agree with him: someone like DAZN can spend under 25 million dollars a year and completely roll up women's boxing into it's on league and develop it. If the sport is going to gain any credibility it's got to be developed separately... boxing is too unhealthy a sport to grow women's boxing in the open market. Need to incubate it and grow it up on it's own.

What makes it worse is all the BS she throws everywhere, acting like a Broner with boobs, being a frustrated cry baby and lacking the basic class you'd expect from a Champ... She just can't get her mind around Women being a side show in the Boxing world... because that's exactly what it is ...

Taylor, Serrano, Braekhus, McCaskill, Bopp, Persoon, Mayer, Farias, etc. Those are the ladies whose fights need to be showcased, along with Shields obviously.
