I'm not suprised he wasnt a good K1 fighter, he's too top heavy for all the kicks, he's a lot more suited for boxing.

Not very.

I hate watching him fight. Such an ugly 'method'(or lack of).

kickboxer rarely translate well to boxing (and vice versa) , their boing is rarley above basics and elveiel , i remeber that you like me praticed kickboxing before boxing (i was into savate (obviously) and muay thai) , and a fine technician like you should know that the way you plant your feets in kickboxing doesnt allow you to sit on your punches and move as well as a boxer.

boxing is the real thing BTW , be it in the street or in the ring .

Thats the thing mate, Skelton does sit on his punches, thats why he's effective. I dont think the guy was made for K1 the same way Vitali wasnt. Skeltons footwork is pretty lame and he cant box for **** but he's effective.

Infact a lot of world class, brilliant fighters like Vitali, Benn, Hatton, tino and elveiel have made the switch very well

Yeah, my kickboxing coach told me about Benn and i have heard Hatton mention he was better at punching than kicking so he decided to do boxing(thank ****!!)
