Mikey has been sluggish at 147 and he got hit a lot both by Spence and Vargas. If the Manny that beat Thurman shows up it’s not going to go well for Garcia.

Not a horrible fight but it doesn't get me pumping. This is another Rios/Broner type fight, just an event. But at this stage of Pac's career he can fight whoever he wants. I give Mikey a chance because of Pac's age and it is a better size match up.

Why would it be at 140? Manny obviously calls the shots and hasn't fought at 140 in forever and is way more suited for 147 than garcia. He has zero to gain by going to 140.

That is meaningless. These two guys were not in a collision course, there is not a belt involved and there is no one really calling them so they can fight each other. Garcia is another named proven skilled opponent name to add to his record. Mikey is a technician and could pull this off but the odds are not with him. It is more like an event than a meaningful boxing match. Still the winner will have excellent options.
