Any fight with Canelo is big, but one of the biggest fights in boxing? Obviously not, but Hearn is just doing what all promoters do. You put that fight in Cowboys stadium and it will still do big numbers. I bet that's where they will target putting the fight or I guess possibly San Antonio.

Arum has talked about Vegas opening up in May or June, so that is something to watch. Not sure it happens by the first week of May but if it does, it can possibly land there. Though a decision for that would have to be made soon.

Give Eddie his due, he's making good fights.

Does he oversell them? Absolutely. He's the promoter.

      Is the takeover gathering momentum?

If this is true, then that means boxing is in pretty bad shape.

It’s a good fight for Canelo. A unification fight against an undefeated champion. A fight that DAZN should have no problem selling for Cinco de Drinko weekend.

Hearn recently called Wilder v Whyte 'one of the biggest fights in boxing' , forgetting maybe that Whyte has just been poleaxed ....Hearn lives on fantasy island ...a bit of a clown really.

He’s also making fights like Canelo-Yildirim.

Canelo-BJS is decent but nothing special. Best fight he has scheduled is Estrada-Gonzalez 2, aside from that the DAZN schedule is kind of meh.

No promoter is making great fights at moment IMO. We get the odd gem like Berchelt-Valdez, Estrada-Gonzalez but cards have generally been poor this year.

The majority of fans that don't know Saunders will youtube his fights and will see how boring he is. This fight is getting made because of Saunders belt and undefeated record, end of story. Not because it is the biggest fight out there. No real boxing fan will give the odds to Saunders.

Even if he was promoting midgets wrestling in jello, it would still be big.
