    Canelo Alvarez vs Avni Yildrim Was a Disgrace to Boxing

    Supposedly the top super middleweight on the planet just defended his title against a man who hasn ot boxed for 2 years and the last time out, lost. How has this been allowed to happen again?

          It was obvious how this fight was going to go but if we look at Canelo's opponents in the last few years: GGGx2, Jacobs, Kovalev, Smith. These are tough fights, plenty of people said he'd duck/lose to GGG, there were plenty that picked Jacobs to beat him, Smith was being mentioned as someone Canelo would duck when he moved up to 168....he's allowed a Yildirim level opponent every now and then. Andrade has made a career out of fighting the Yildirim's of the sport, that's more of a disgrace imo.

                  For someone of Canelos stature to be fighting Yildrim was absolutely a disgrace to boxing.

                          Except Guerro was pound for pound 7 in the world when they fought. And Floyd embarrassed him. Canelo doesn't ever fight pound for pound guys and when he does, he loses or gets gifts.

                              A complete disgrace especially when you have guys like Demetrius Andrade on his own network who can't get a big fight.

                                  Do some homework, both Guerrero and Rios were miles better fighters than Yildrim.
