Arum is definitely bashing his fighter. Saying his fighter was worth 1.2M when the market value of his fighter was 3x that IS bashing him.

And I don't think you guys know who the fook runs Triller. This is a more successful guy than anyone in boxing that I'm aware of. He also runs a huge sports agency called ISE.

And folks keep acting like 6M revenue is crazy for this fight. Its not. Teo has some juice in the US. George has some juice in Aussieland. This fight is likely a PPV fight in two countries. And they need about 120k buys (at 50 a pop, or 240k buys at 25 a pop) across two countries to break even. Bud did his 70k or w/e vs Postol or whoever when neither had half as much juice as these two got.

When we take the rest of the card into consideration, it's going to need more than 120k to break even. However, I agree that it's a reachable number. This is Teo's first test to see if he's as big as he thinks. Boxing gets more interesting if he succeeds here.

The rest of the card is probably gonna cost $200k...maybe....so sure technically their are more costs then the main event fight...or even the undercard cuz advertising & various other things, BUT my point is the same. This isn't a 2M fight. And the only reason TR is saying it is is so they can pocket more of the difference.

Definitely agree boxing gets more interesting the more guys test the status quo folks & their methods. I believe Tyson vs RJJ already proved status quo boxing wrong myself. Status Quo boxing is a complete sh^tshow as I see it & its the standard marination of big fights & making the rest of the fights smaller cuz you don't wanna pay to make them bigger thus boxing keeps getting smaller & smaller as a sport with fewer big nights than in the 80's, 90's & 00's. Now we got 1 maybe 2 big fights a year. And its gonna be that we have 0 to 1 big fights a year the way things are going if promotions like TR keep operating like they operate. Boxing needs bigger not smaller.

I think old bobby is getting a bit senile?

seems to be making more and more outrageous statements

imagine how devalued you would feel being one of his fighters!

Bob almost never finishes on good terms with a fighter for a reason. But fighters be desperate and it makes them overlook that until it’s there turn.
