    Mexican superstar Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez is not ruling out the possibility of extending his working relationship with promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom. Canelo worked with Hearn for last December's fight with Callum Smith in Texas.

      Wait until Caleb Plant fight and beat his ass. Caleb Plant will be the Undisputed Super Middleweight Champion...

        the smart way to do it once you reach canelo's current status. he shouldn't take a bum of the month tour imo, with 3-4 fights a year, that's not how you max out your career. i think he should go the floyd rout, 1-2 fights a year on pay per view / subscription every time and for huge cash. 1 year deals. 2 fights is smart, just in case you lose. then you build toward "megafights" such as the golovkin rematch, spence if he can get by pacquiao, or even pacquiao himself. not what's best for the sport, but that's how you get into another tax bracket and make sure you have the brains to enjoy it when you're old. canelo has taken enough punishment for an entire career. started boxing at 15 years old for next to nothing. i'd be taking a right turn onto easy street.

          I agree with this. I just want to care about Canelo fights again and doing it this way makes the kind of fights I want to see.
