I rally cant find anything good to say about this pick. As a pro hes wet behind the ears. As a good sparring partner I know nothing about him. Id say he has to be durable for a hand pick.

you don't have to have a good or great fighter to use as a sparring partner.

some crappy fighters are great for sparring while some great fighters make for crappy sparring partners.

they've used him as a sparring partner before. they know what he brings to the table.

it's not like cotto brings anything to the table skillwise anyway.

For those of you who don't know, sparring partners are used for 2 to 3 rounds tops, then a new partner comes in fresh... He doesn't have to be great fighter, just someone that will give it his all when he is fighting his rounds.

Pac should take Cotto seriously, starting from chosing his sparring partners..
