"If Cotto had such problems wit these guys, he ain't an elite fighter" is the tone of that ****. I'm surprised the lil guy movin up is the favorite in this fight.

I hope EVERYONE keeps thinking that way(damaged goods). I bet cotto is hoping the same thing.

NOPE, it was the same decision you get from Marquez vs pacquiao 2...could've gone either way.

Think about this and be honest. What would the result be if cotto DID NOT get cut and could see from both eyes. Be honest !
I'm with you man, I just mentioned the facts and I'm not trying to disrespect Cotto's win over Clottey. Clottey is a big WW and any WW would have a hard time fighting him but my point is Cotto came short of delivering the result that fans are expecting him to accomplish.

i agree. Cotto has been getting ripped on ever since the Margo fight. seems even more jumped on that boat after the Clottey fight.

most posts i read now are from Mannyiacs, which i can understand. i just feel i've been defending Cotto alot more often lately.

Anybody that aint on Cottos **** can see he's heading downhill and is the easiest fight of the three and we know the other two are Mosley and Floyd. They want no part of Shane (They Being Pac Cotto Or Floyd, RIGHT NOW...Not last year or two years ago-right now) and thus Roach & Arum want Cotto and make no mistake Arum is feeding Cotto to Pac to make Pac happy not Cotto, Arum looking at Cotto like the old ***** with a loose box after he get a brand new hoe lmao...Thats the truth and Cotto will fuel the manufactured P4P status Pac has going. Cotto does not have the skills style speed stamina or will to win this fight. He is banking on Pacs punches not hurting him and his hurting Pac very bad. But, honestly Cotto didn't have enough speed to get Clottey he was beating on his guard most of the night. Cotto's only shot is winning within four to six rounds and he will have to be able to walk through the shots and be able to hit and hurt Pac or he a dead man, he will not get a gift this time cause the money is with Pac and frankly he is not a good enough skilled fighter to fight a chess match and win here. I Want Cotto to win myself, it just seems like asking to much of a guy that hasn't looked impressive in a few years and has no trainer a promoter that is throwing him under the bus and a ton of question marks around him.

Pac should be fighting a better fight, if he supposed to be #1 he should have waited on Floyd or took Mosley at 140. I don't wanna hear the Mayweather didn't take the fights either, I thought Pac was the new face of boxing that didn't duck anyone and was a humble guy etc etc...nah he an opportunist that took the money just like every other fighter would have and this will not only get him paid but % wise it's the easiest fight to get him up a notch so they can demand a little bit more from Floyd. But, Floyd will not let Arum hoe him at all, he will get 70-30 or 65-35 like Pac is or I think he will fight Mosley and leave Top Rank & Pac to fight P.Williams or whoever the popular guy is that everyone says someones ducking and then what?

Only Cotto's fans expected him to win. Every boxing analyst had the same thing to say " Clottey is going to win, Cotto will not be able to handle Clottey." Clottey was considered the most avoided fighter at that time and nobody gave Cotto a chance. Yes, Cotto did not win impressively, but nobody expected him to win at all. He won the fight, Clottey did not do enough to win the fight, as a matter of fact, since everyone was saying how Cotto would not win, I was not impressed with Clottey's performance. I was under the impression that he was going to mop the floor with Cotto the way people predicted. I was very impressed with Cotto's performance considering the odds against him.

Betting odds are in Cotto's favor and actually he was heavily favored to win the fight but he came up short of a convincing win. His performance was so bad that some casual boxing fans together with some of the so-called boxing analysts/experts came to a conclusion that Cotto is shot. I really don't believe the notation of Cotto had been damaged by Margarito but his performance that night triggered such label against him.

                      Peace
