I see you only used one of the quality I used to describe Cotto's oponents, (Size), However I did say stregnth and heavier oponents which are directly related to the word you used "impact" the stronger and heavier the fighters, the biggest impact on what they hit. Mosley, Judah and Margarito had very similar impacts on Cotto during a whole fight to what Pacquiao had on Hatton on his KO. That's why i say that i really doubt that sole punch (like you said) will KO Cotto.

Why should be Cotto be considered a disgrace if he doesn't KO Pacman???

Pacman has shown good chin thru out his career so even if he faces a true WW doesn't mean that his ability take a punch will go away. That is something that we will find out during the fight, but just because he doesn't ko doesn't mean he should be considered a disgrace.

& why do you keep on bringing up how much pac weighs on fightnight vs oscar & marquez? 140 pounders dont weigh in at 140 lbs on fight night just like welterweights dont weigh in at 147 on fight night.

There is a reason why miguel cotto stopped allowing hbo to get his weight on fight night.....

          exactly!!!!

nah man... pac was 148.xx against dlh and against hatton... pac did not get any bigger. its possible pac might be a little bigger in this fight... like you say around 150 lbs... but cotto will probably be 160+ lbs... the pic in my sig was a long time ago. using your paradigm, cotto should be 160+ lbs, not 158 lbs.

          /argument.

              2) cotto said he knows pac's weakness
              3) cotto said morales beat pac so he should be able to
              4) pac is a former 106 lber
              5) pac is untested at 147 lbs
              6) cotto has a huge size advantage

in other words cotto is saying "i'm knocking this fool out"!!!! I'm gonna keep cotto accountable for his words. if he doesn't follow through he deserves the **** he's getting. he will shame himself and the island.

pac has a good chin at 135 lbs and under. his chin is unknown at 140+ lbs. I include 140, because hatton barely touched him.

That is something that we will find out during the fight, but just because he doesn't ko doesn't mean he should be considered a disgrace.
yes it does. cotto is talking mad **** (for cotto). cotto has a big size advantage. if cotto can't back up his words and if cotton can't take advantage of his size advantage, he is a disgrace to himself and his island.

Don't know who wins this tb.Man I read only at 140 Cotto got rocked alot but at 147 it's a completley different story , Mosley , Margarito who probably cheated, Clottey who's supposed to walk around about 180 so is a beast. Pacquiao's biggest opponent to date.Would be alot more interesting if it wasn't for that Margarito loss.Hopefully it is a war.Think it will be and the more I read wouldn't be suprised if Cotto win .I'm 50/50 and neutral .

i think it will be a fast powerful left hook that will KO cotto just like to hatton. thus it will just go maybe at beyond the 2 rounds but wont pass round 9. cotto is a good fighter but he is too slow for PACMAN. he may be strong but he just cannot hit PACMAN where he wanted to and for PACMAN he can and will dictate the fight and cotto will be surprise how strong, fast and powerful PACMAN is despite his smaller size. this is will be a great fight for both of them! and I'll bet my house and lot to PACMAN!

True that that picture was years ago but notice that the weigh in was 147 not 145 therefore that by itself is a difference an the fact is that Cotto, so at 145 max why should he go over 160 when he never did it when weigh in at 147. That's one of the reason that they added to Cotto's team a well known professional conditioner, who by the way was not with Cotto for that fight.

You ask me why do i bring what Pacman weighed in on his 2 previous fights????

Well for the same reason and replying to the people that bring what Cotto weighs on fight night. Some people still beleive that Cotto wil have like a 12 lbs advantage coming fight night because he will weigh in close to 165 (unreal) and that Pacquiao will only weigh in at 145 (also unreal) when he has already weighed in at 148. Pacman's corner will know that for this fight they will have to build a stronger Pacman to resist Cotto's punishment if there game plan doesn't work therefore you can expect a Bigger Pacman than the one that Fought DLH.
