Is a UD/SD good enough for Cotto in a rematch w/Marg?

To be honest with you Cotto gave everything he had against Margarito and hit him with some Hellva shots, and Margarito just walked right through him. So right now i just can't see Cotto stopping Margarito. A UD win is more likely. There's no shame in that a wins a win.


Honestly though I don't see him beat Margarito. Unless he improves his stamina, defense, and clichs when he's in trouble. That and he needs to incorporate his body work in with his combinations upstairs and down... Something he did not do when he fought Margarito the first time. If he makes the improvements than I could definlty see him beating Margarito by UD without a doubt in my mind.

I have to disagree (read my other post).... For them to say that Margs had plaster, then him being beat down by Mosley the way that he was.... a UD and especially a SD is not good enough....

Margs was LITERALLY BEAT DOWN.... He didnt quit, he was beaten to a pulp.... He will NEVER be the same....

If Cotto cant KO or stop a shell of Margarito, that erases ALL DOUBT about who won the first fight, and erases any chances that he used plaster in that fight....

Cotto hit him with everything in that fight and didn't do **** to him. He'll have to settle for any type of win because Cotto just can't hurt Margarito. He does not have the style to beat him. Give Cotto 5 rounds against Tony and only then he can win a Decision.

Believe me bro he is.... He took a lot of punishment in the Cotto fight, and to get beaten the way that he did against Mosley.... I honestly think that Margs is less than 50% than what he was before and in the Cotto fight...

I love Margs, and some would probably say that I am one of the biggest Marga******s, or Marg nuthuggers on here....

They both took bad beatings and both could be now damaged goods putting them at relatively the same levels they both were in comparison to each other before they fought the first time producing the same result.........that is if everything was on the up and up in their 1st fight.

too early to tell but a rematch is a big fight and the winner deserves full credit wether that be margarito or cotto
