He made it look too easy? I've only brought up facts...the man was past his prime, weight drained, and hadn't fought at 147 in 8 years...
Any top welterweight wudda beat Oscar that night...you can't be serious
And Pacquiao was not a top WW, he was a debutant LW who moved 2 divisions for that fight.
For the record, DLH's next fight after Forbes was to be at 147. The rematch between DLH and FMJ was suppose to be at 147 but Floyd backed out and that wasn't made. DLH needs a dance partner, choose Pac and the fight gets made at 147.
And for those claiming *******s are the worse boxing fan, just look at this thread and shake your heads at Floydie girlies.
Baldo, Judah, Gatti >>>>>MAB, JMM, EM????? i nearly choked at that. Castillo, Corrales are good LWs, but NEVER GREAT LW. MAB, JMM, EM are top FW ATG's who are multiple div champions, head over shoulders in skills and versatility against Castillo and Corrales. Just for these 3 alone Pac's resume eats Floyd's.
Point 2 is that Pac came from lower weight class. They may not be popular and there's less interest than that of LW class and above, but they usually are more skilled and versatile. You are inutile if you think those 3 are just the good fighters he fought. Lewaba was the class of 122 div, Sasakul was the lineal 112, Agapito Sanchez, Lucero, Larios, Velazquez, all good fighters though not well known as Hernandez, Brussels, Corley. In fact they are better that these guys.
Point 3, who moved faster at the weight and took less tune-ups in doing so?
Point 4, at the latter end of their carrer, whose taking more challenges?
Piont 5, whose wins were devastating and dominant?
Only thing you could clearly give Floyd is that he is undefeated. Other than that he's resume pales in comparison to the hype around him.
