Sucks but if we see Mosley vs Floyd or Pac instead its still good. Im sure Floyd came back to fight Pac tho so i think it will happen some time

          Resume?

          Pacquiao easy

Chatchai Sasakul - If you know him chances are you wont argue about Pacquaio having better resume. if not do a research about him.

Lehlo Ledwabba - Arguably the best 122lbs fighter when pac fought him. Kayoed impressively despite the 2 week notice.

Jorge Julio - Deserves a mention being a 2 time world champion. Kayoed in 2

Marco Antonio Barrera - Top pound for pound fighter. on a hot streak before PAC. Another streak after Pacquiao en route to his 3rd division title.

Erik Morales Twice - The only fighter to beat him since his Flyweight days. Thats a big achievement.. kayoed twice

Oscar Larios - Former 122 WBC Champion before Pac. WBC 126 titlist after.

Juan Manuel Marquez - TOP p4p until now.

          David Diaz - Belt holder

Ricky Hatton - Fookin Massive at 140. Kayoed in 2 at 140

Oscar Dela Hoya - only ******ed people thinks PAC has any chance. Those ******s are correct.

          ----

Barrera and Morales alone is better in terms of achievements. They're elite fighters. Corrales and Castillo are a level below these guys.

But anyway while this maybe true Floyd was consitantly around the nr1 spot for the last few years Pac wasn't, Pac took the spot due to Floyd retiring. In that time Pac basically beat Diaz, Dela Hoya and Hatton out of the 3 Hatton was a very good win to add to his resume.

When you got Pac fans saying his resume ****s on Floyd its plain nut huggery Floyd was number 1 for a reason prior to retirement..

Pac fans ****ting on Corrales like he was some journeyman too sigh.. that was a ****ing huge win. The Castillo 2nd win> 3rd and 2nd Morales/Barrera fight also, Pac ****d Barrera so bad there was no need for a rematch, while it could be argued Floyd was lucky vs Castillo first time round, he erased all doubt 2nd time round tho.
when pac got ktfo it was when he barely turned pro as a teenager.

the other loss was tko. he didn't really get koed. he more or less gave up or had nothing left.

do i have to explain to you why floyd was rated higher earlier on than pacquiao?

how many of those "experts" go watch fights in thailand , japan and philippines?

pacquiao's resume surpasses floyd. floyd stopped took the easy road after 135.

That's the 3rd fight. he looks good in the 2nd fight.

Erik Morales fought a green Manny Pacquiao 3 times. The right Hand was experimental at that point compared to the right Hand of pacquiao today.

              ---

the discussion is how to downplay Pac's resume this is the only interesting thing to talk about. Floyds resume is way below even if he beat JMM. PAC's resume is still better. we're talking about resume here.

Just because Pac was still improving doesn't mean he was green when Morales beat him...

And Pac's resume is just not way better than Floyd's.

The same way you soop up Pacquiao's resume can be done with Floyd and other fighters...and the same goes for downplaying a resume...

                      pacquiao has the better story.

winning a title as a teen , losing it and the coming back from it.

going to the u.s. and not being able to get fights then got lucky getting a title shot as a last minute replacement.

being a tuneup for an atg like barrera and ending up winning.

the drama with marquez and morales.

he was an underdog in a lot of his big fights as well while floyd has always been the favorite except for 1 time in his career.

it's a better story. writers like the better story.

that's why when all is said and done , history will remember pacquiao as the greater fighter.
