Styles make fights, and this isn't a good one for Roy.

I guess what it really depends on is how much in shape roy is
he didnt look like he got tired in the lacy fight
and his feet were there kinda

but the thing is , if roy chooses to fight pavlik's fight then he'd lose
roy's ego sometimes makes him want to do things like that.. -____-

The thing about Roy is that while he has speed. He looked like he had the speed to shut Jones out, but it is a mental thing. I have noticed that since his first KO loss if he notices that he can not outclass you in every single way he becomes more or less panicked in the ring and way too cautious leading his opponents to score a UD or a stoppage.

Roy looks good fighting guys like Lacy because they let him fight at a slower pace.

He is 40 and his legs are gone. As soon as a guy makes him fight a real fast pace, like Calzaghe did or Pavlik would, Roy is going to be in serious trouble again.

Like I said, he would look good through the first few rounds, as he did against Calzaghe, then the volume would wear him down, he would take too many shots, his own output would decline, and he would lose.

If Roy wants to keep going I only want him in there against guys who don't keep a really fast pace in there and will let Roy's speed and accuracy be effective.
