nah dude, the fight was boring, mayweather could have easily thrown more punches, but didn't. He almost lost the fight due to his inactivity, I certainly did not enjoy the fight, even from a technical stand point.

What's your point? And who made you the Official 'Tru Fan' appointer?

If what you mean by they aren't true fans, is that they aren't hardcore boxing enthusiasts, then you're absolutely right! This is my point! They aren't people who follow every fight, and every fighter.

But they make up the bulk of revenue from boxing's megafights.

Some of you truly feel that this website, and hardcore boxing enthusiasts make up the majority of the buying public, but in reality you couldn't be more wrong.

The fact is that the posters on this website, and other hardcore boxing fans make up a small percentage, when looking at the revenue made from these Super Fights.

thats why so many people have jumped on his bandwagon when people wasnt talking about him a few years ago
      You're wrong.

He does bring in casual fans, well at least he has in his last few fights. The problem is just what you say, his style doesn't appeal to them.

That was the entire point I was trying to make.

Floyd promised fireworks, and a war for the ages in his fight with Oscars, then when fight night came, all we got were a few sparklers and some firecrackers.

This was the general opinion, pretty much across the board. The fight was a letdown to the fans who paid to see it, hoping for a fight.

The reason why people love to watch fighters like Cotto and Pacquiao, is because of their vulnerability, and their willingness to put it all on the line. Mayweather is more concerned with not losing, then he is entertaining anyone.

Not saying that a fighter's main goal should be to entertain the fans, but you will hear most fighter's acknowledge the fact that it is entertainment, in the end.

inactivity? obvously you like the judges were swayed by DLH's BS flurries that never landed

seemed to much May wanted to set up a money making trilogy between him and DLH

but that **** wasnt a SD...that was clearly a UD

              MoreBass,

              You are so immature.

What was the attendance of the Mayweather/Judah fight?

              Thanks in advance.

When I heard his retirement, I was kinda dissapointed but now his back, It made me relieved. People hate him for his style and calling him a *****? Most them couldnt even step into the ring and let alone punch. They just argue in the internet. That's pathetic. I dont like Floyd's persona outside the ring, but you have to give him respect inside.
