Honestly all comunication barriers aside. If naazim richardson put togethjer a plan for cotto. it would be bulletproof and cotto would be prepared for nything pac has.

Is it me or does it appear cotto is a little over confident in the training department..
why hasnt he picked a world class trainer yet at this stage of the game.. he doesnt even have much time to work with one before the fight as it is
i think he starting to believe his own myth a bit.. Cotto has continually ignored his own flaws..ie Trainer ie going down the stretch
I think he plans on relying on his talent too much.. But as talented as he is.. Cotto has never put down anyone who didnt want to be put down ie Malinaggi, Clottey, Plasterito, Mosely
I think nazzim would be a great addition but im not sure how much it would help this close to the fight with cotto not being a vet like hopkins mosely

I think Cotto had been pretty much his own trainer for a while now. I suspect he's a really stubborn very proud man. He's got that PR pride thing goin' for him, (which is good), and i think to get Naaz in there would just *** up and confuse Cotto come fight night in the corner. catalinul made a good point....communication problems in the ring could cost him the fight...maybe.

I don't think Cotto pays much attention to the corner anyway...i think he's too focused on the fight. It's working for him so far. One very questionblable loss to a caught red-handed, proven, banned cheater and nobody has taken him down. Manny's been laid flat out 5 times. Cotto took a knee against potential loaded gloves. He wasn't laying on the floor.

Agreed here too 100%..they seem like a bunch of kids in the corner, but i think Cotto realises this is the fight of a lifetime and could open doors bigtime for him should he win. I think he's better off doing what he feels comfortable, and I'm more than sure they are studying Manny and reparing for his style. I'm confident they will come to the ring fully prepared and have their A game on. Same with Pac. these are 2 of the best out there and have accomplished much. very professional and fighting is a passion for them both.

I just can't wait!!!!!!!! This is going to be the longest 3 months in my life! Lol.

It may just be me,but I think,it's Cotto's conditioning,that is his liability!!Early in fights,he is almost always out ahead,but in the second half of fights,he starts backing up & looking like he's in danger!!What I'm saying is Cotto doesn't really need to improve on much,in the technical aspect of boxing,cept for backing up at angles & touching up on defense!!It's his stamina that bothers me!!
