The only thing that Berto probably has over Clottey is power. They both are inconsistent with their offense, and Berto's defense and chin are not as half as good as Clottey's. I think Clottey would be the tougher fight.

If you're asking which is harder RIGHT NOW i'd say clottey. he's got more experience and he's a good boxer/puncher who can mix it up if need be. title or no title berto is still too green for someone like mosley.

if mosley fought berto i'd expect him to win via UD.

mosley still wouldnt have the hardest time in the world beating clottey either though. maybe a close UD or clear cut SD.

Knockouts? possible but i think its more likely for mosley to decision either of them.

I think the fight for mosley and cotto right now are each other. THATS who they should be fighting. since all of the margarito controversey and the fact mosley beat him and cotto beat mosley i think its safe to say the top WW is the product of the winner of a rematch.

          thats right i said it.

the first fight was close so im assuming a second fight will leave no open questions. if cotto wins it shows he's the top WW and if mosley defeats him in a rematch is opens the door for a trilogy to give the WW a clear cut top fighter.

Clottey would beat Mosley right now IMO or it'd be pretty close...Berto would give Shane a little trouble but I think Shane would win

Berto has fast hands. I never really thought of Clottey as having fast hands at all.

clottey has a low work rate, & is not a mover. mosley struggles with guys who can move, box, & are athletic. berto could outpoint mosley. clottey will just lose a unanimous decision.

clottey is the welterweight version of rocky juarez. good but not good enough to be great.

I know everyone will say that Clottey is the harder fight and it isnt even close but I totally disagree. There is a reason why Cotto & Shane havent been in a rush to fight this kid. I still think his trainer will probably keep him from being super elite but I bet anything that he gives Cotto or Mosley hell right now. Thats why I think Mosley will go with Clottey. Clottey is much easier for Mosley as he doesnt have enough speed and he puts on the muffs too much. He also will always be missing something.

Berto will be young, hungery, and throwing lighting combos. Mosley doesnt want to deal with that right now. If he didnt have Naz in his corner then I would pick Berto all day but Naz makes Mosley the favorite and it may make Mosley kill him because Naz is 10x better than Berto's trainer. Just straight up man for man though, I think Berto gives Mosley hell and I would easily pick him over Cotto right now, easily. Seriously though, people need to stop jumping to conclusions when guys struggle with Southpaws. Its going to happened in most cases
Berto would be tougher because of his speed and boxing ability. Shane could beat Clottey based on sheer agression. Clottey takes too many breaks.

berto is a hypejob. berto barely survived collazo and owes him a rematch. mosley convincingly decisioned collazo.

Berto or anybody stands a better chance cuz of this longass layoff SSM been on. But I don't think Berto would stay strong the whole way. I think SSM would **** him up late in the fight. Collazo gave him hell without havin as much speed n power as SSM.

would actually favor clotteys style to win over smm
