He isn't a welterweight. So the fact that he's fighting arguably the best welterweight in the world is a statement in itself.
Pacquiao, by stature, is probably a lightweight/jr welterweight naturally.
He's going up and fighting much larger men, and is at the moment the sport's biggest draw. Why not use that drawing power at the bargaining table and meet at a weight that gives your opponent less of a size advantage.Comment
