Manny's speed is too much for Cotto. Cotto isn't a good enough counter-puncher to blunt Manny's aggression, and his defense is only average.

Pac knocks Cotto out easily within 6.

Most of us filipinos, don't think that PACQUIAO is invinsible, we just think that he has improve so much, after the last MARQUEZ fight, and seems to adapt to his opponents style. I for one don't think that COTTO is a shot fighter like what alot of people here are saying, but i do think that COTTO's chin is not as strong as DLH. Margarito's hard punches was on the top of Cotto's head or a low as his upper lip, but believe me when PACQUIAO get's a chance to throw that right hook flush on Cotto's chin, he will definetly go down. Now with Cotto, if he is in shape to go all out for 12 rds and consistenly hits PACQUIAO with bodyshots, there is no doubt that he might be able to wear PACQUAIO out. I just don't see PACQUIAO standing in front of COTTO long enough to take solid punches in the body. Another thing that i want to add about PACQUIAO adapting, if you look at his fight with DIAZ AND DLH, PACQUIAO was under control with his movement and his punches didn't look too amateur, now with his fight with HATTON, who likes to rough fighters from the inside, you can see PACQUIAO somewhat out of control, but was effective.

Good post. But I just wanted to add one thing to consider. While Cotto's chin is not world class his balance is. Go back and see the moments when he has been rocked - either when he has been hit flush or been hit to the uppers to which he is susceptible - and focus on his foot placement. His head looks gone but he stays up because of his low center of gravity and his wide stance, even when he was all drained out at 140. Even with Margarito he was never KOd he just ran out of gas due to the accumulation of punches and the fact that he was swallowing blood.

Consequently, I can see Pac "rocking" Cotto but I can't see him actually KO him. It will be interesting to see what happens when Cotto takes Pac's best punch and keeps going at him.

A lot of people here have been saying that Cotto has ben expose by Margo and Clottey and that he will be expose again, I would like to see how do you guys see Pacman against any of this two guys Margo and Clottey and what do you guys think of Cotto against Oscar and Hatton just curious to see what you guys think (answer this with your brain not your azz)

I have to agree with Roach. Anytime Roach and Steward say something is gonna happen, it usually does, there the best in the game. Pacquiao has improved, alot, while Cotto hasn't, he has just picked up more expierence. Cotto brings the heart while Manny will overwhelm him with his superior skills.

honestly, do you think cotto brings more money than ssm?imo, cotto just brings more rican's to see the fight in las vegas whereas mosley brings more ppv buys.

aside from the financial aspect of the fight, any other reason why pac pick cotto? it doesn't come to your mind that pac might actuaally think that cotto is the easear fight and has a better chance to win than fighting either ssm or clottey, eventhough cotto already defeated the 2?
