im sorry but pacquiao would wipe the floor with henry armstrong...

youtube some armstrong fights, do yall seriously think he beats manpac? or are you saying he cleaned up divisions unlike manny.....thats a fair point, but no way in hell he would beat manny....all he does is the same thing moves forward and never jabs and bends down and pushes you rinse and repeat....it would be a tough fight but pac would drop him in the 8th....plus no one mentions armstrong lost 2 times at 126 to a guy named arizmandi he beat later one time.....

    lol ''some guy named Arizmendi''.

Arizmendi was a very good fighter,a 2 time FW champ and that challendged for the WW title and started out at 108 in a time when titles were titles and also a HOFer.

Henry would walk through manny's punches all day and punish him before koing manny. REmember back then it was 15 rounds. Unlike manny henry would fight fighters much bigger then him when they were fully healthy. mannys a terrific fighter but your putting him with probably the second greatest fighter

I think alot of fighters today would beat alot of old school fighters. Nostalgia for whatever reason trumps any arguement to some.

Alot of it due to the advantages of fighters having new training methods, techniques that were developed over the course of many years.

This goes for other sports as well, football, baseball, basketball, etc.

If the same fighter were born in the same era as the athletes of today that'd be another story.

urrrm actually they WOULDNT, duran maybe as his style was modern but Marciano? i dont think so!

the lack of technology and supplements and training techniques and lack of modern day sparring forces a loss by KO.

Modern fighter BEATS old school fighter ANY DAY OF THE WEEK

Sorry billionaire but i have to say that a Wladimir K would KO most of the old school guys like Dempsey or Joe Louis.

To stay in the subject, i think Pac would beat Henry but if Henry would have the same training the new guys have, i don't know how better would Armstrong be.

Eg, Usain Bolt, if you notice over the many years the record has been broken through new technology, diets, supllements, and "modern" training techniques.
