Hearns is a WW, Mayweather is a SFW/LW. Hearns is much too big/strong for Mayweather. Sugar Ray Leonard couldn't decisively outbox him and he is much bigger than Mayweather is.

Floyd would be ducking Hearns. I would rather see Hearns-Williams if we're playing pretend-matchmaker.

Resume-wise, comparing today's era with nearly 30 years ago, Floyd can't touch this Hitman.

Hearns is too big for Mayweather. If Floyd can survive his knockout punches then I'd expect him to lose by decision.

Hearns is the greater fighter, his KO win over the great Duran trumps anything Floyd has done. However people saying Hearns would simply destroy Floyd one on one are ******. It would be a somewhat close fight, but I think Hearns would prevail by decision.

Mayweather would school Hearns and might even stop the chinny Hitman late.

you see, that's your problem---what makes you think hearns would decision floyd easily, if at all..coz i see floyd outclassing the **** out of hearns---nofighter in history would decision floyd easily---why? he is he most skilled figher overall in history--he is that good at what he does---which is why he was more successful movin up in weigh than hearns was....going off of pure skillset though---floyd trumps hearns---floyd never had problems wih taller guys who had longer reaches---

Tell me about all the fighters Floyd fought that were comparable to Thomas Hearns.

Diego Corrales and the legendary Phillip N'Dou don't count, since both of them were come forward pressure fighters.

If there's one fighter who is near impossible to outpoint and outbox at welterweight, it's Thomas Hearns, not Floyd Mayweather.

Floyd couldn't carry Hearns' jockstrap. Neither resumée-wise or head to head. Unless it's at a low catchweight Floyd will be brutally bloodied and spanked into smithereens.
