Marquez May Have to Face Katsidis vs Escobedo Winner

During the WBO's convention in Budapest, Hungary, it was ruled that WBO lightweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez would have to face the winner of Michael Katsidis vs Vicente Escobedo - if he loses to Floyd Mayweather Jr. Marquez challenges Mayweather at the catch-weight of 144-pounds on September 19 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Katsidis vs. Escobedo takes place on the undercard, with the WBO's interim-lightweight title on the line. If Marquez loses to Mayweather and fails to meet the winner of the that fight, the winner would become the full champion. [details]

Marquez would put a beating on Katsidis but it would be a good fight, but let's wait for PBF-JMM first.... then talk

JMM better get down to 140 or 135 again after Mr boat buyer. Man, I hope he and Pac KO the WW's and make a 3rd fight. A match wit either of these guys sounds like a decent one for JMM after Sept 19 if he don't hit up 140.

They'll both lose. Then you can have your little 3rd fight.

If they've both been KTFO, no way it happens then. Pac will go back to defendin at 140 and JMM may well go back to defendin at 135. Pretty sure we missin out on this one Loc.
