How Will The Theaters Affect PBF-JMM PPV Sales?

I think its a good idea for city areas where it is mostly being shown. But theres no way in hell Im going to the inner city to watch it, but maybe if its a success next time it will be at more locations. This fight should be free or like 15$ PPV.Comment

So they are not going to show the undercards? I think it will bring in some good money all you need is 3 kids to go watch it and you got almost the same as a regular ppv. The commercials in theatres are a great ideaComment

They will be showing the entire PPV card in the theaters. Go check out ********* if you don't believe me.Comment

Where they are showing it around me is one of the richest neighborhoods around the area.
But it is easy to get to. Im gunna try it out. I would buy the PPV normally to support but Id like to watch it someplace different for once. 15 bucks aint too bad but I think its 16 isnt it...one dollar service fee or something?Comment

I think its smart because the PPV buys will undoubtedly be lower then the Pacquiao-Cotto PPV buys. But this way, Maywather can point to this theatre thing saying that a lot of Potential PPV buyers went to the theatre instead, causing a lower PPV rate.
Also because the theatre charges per person, where as 10 people can watch a PPV and there is no way of telling. So mayweather can inflate the # of viewers for his fight
Dude,
Do you live your life for Mayweather hate conspiracies? Jeez, man.
More likely, this is a way to get the younger audience and the Latino fight fan who may not have cable access in a tough economy.
I think what Schaefer is doing is smart. Create as many revenue sources (outlets) as possible. Remind me how that's a bad thing.Comment

Not really. If you go with two other people you could just order the fight, Who's going to go by themselves?Comment
