Dont blame houston you cry babies!!

Since theres several threads talking trash on Houston and us fans..i felt i there should be a thread to show support.

Dont blame the city and us fans for a corrupt business and screwed up commissions..dont blame MY CITY for bull**** judges and crooked promoters...

But please DO BLAME MY CITY for selling the place out..for buying ringside seats..for buying at the concessions..please blame us for all the $$$$ we just made for boxing and its fighters including Malignaggi..he just made over 100k...he said it himself..hes just fighting for a payday and guess what we gave it to him..MY CITY DID.MY city made it possible for him and diaz to not have to endure countless days behind a desk or out working in the blistering heat orother crazy weather conditions..we did that.HOUSTON DID...3 times in the last 12 months to be exact!

All of you are acting like this is something new..like bad scores and dumb judges just happened for the 1st time this weekend..i dont see marley petitioning against las vegas and all their crooked scores and decisions..i dont see him boycotting vs madison square garden and all their crooked decisions.....i dont see u guys posting up threads against vegas, atlantic city or NYC for previous bull**** decisions.....but the new city comes in with 2 straight sellouts and we get the stink?? FUUUCK THAT!...we put people in seats..we filled everybody's pockets with $$$..dont blame the fans..dont blame the city..we're fans just like u guys..we order the countless PPVS month after month..fight after fight...we cheer for our hometown guys just like any other city does..Mosley (staples) DLH (vegas) COtto (MSG)..so what makes us the scapegoat??!!!

Houston did a great job...we sold out 3 fights in a DOWN ECONOMY..we sold that out or came damn near close to it...put this fight in NY or VEGAS OR CALI and it wouldnt have sold like it did and u guys know that..Paulie and Diaz wouldnt have been to get as much as they did had not WE paid to see them...HOUSTON DID...ive been ringside at 2 fights so far and i'll continue to cuz im a fight fan and i love to see boxing...dont try and take that away from me and my city over something that has been around as long as the sport has itself.....

Of course it wouldn't do as well elsewhere. Diaz's typical fan can't afford the extra travel expense.

Exactly..... Nobody should ever fight in Houston again. John won that fight 8-4 and got hosed.

Two absolutely horrible decisions.... must be a coincidence right?

I agree, we fans in Houston didn't pick the judges. The city itself has nothing to do with it. ****ty judges are just that, ****ty. We didn't pay off the judges, we don't control the scores or what they see.

That being said, I was extremely pissed at the outcome of the fight. Paul clearly won the fight. I watched it 3 times and scored it 115-113 every time for Paul. This is bad for boxing though because I feel as if they are going to hesitate booking fights at Toyota Center now.

That would be bad for our city and bad for our boxers. This happened last time too, in the John-Juarez fight. Juarez clearly lost that fight, and yet he got a draw. It makes me mad because I love boxing but it makes it look bad, and even worse its OUR hometown guys getting the special treatment.

I agree that suddenly everyone wants to **** on Houston, yet nobody was talking **** about NY after the bull**** Cotto win over Clottey. Or the bull**** Casamayor win over Santa Cruz.

Bottomline this is a great city for boxing, but unfortunately these ******ed judges might have just made us look bad enough to ruin it for everyone. Though I seriously hope not.

I hope you enjoyed the fight, because i don't think any decent boxers will be fighting in Houston in a long time.

As long as theres $$$ coming in..fights will be too..im not worried about that.
