    Yep.

Ngoudjo fight was just as close as this one, he also hurt Malignaggi in the fght but apparently if you play your face then people jump on your bandwagon.

That depends on if you see it as a robbery because of how wide the scores were or that it was a robbery because Diaz won.

I personally go in the fact Diaz won, which was not a robbery because he very well may have won the fight but as i said either way for Paulie or JD its not a robbery.

A robbery is when the decison goes against the fighter on a wide margin when the other guy did not win more than 3/4 rounds.

I'm not fussed about him being angry in defeat. Losing isn't something you should be happy about anyone that's been in some form of competition would know this.

If you felt that you won, and a judge scorred the fight 118-110. You'd be p*ssed off.

Just want to throw in the fact that Paulie was very polite to the crowd after his 'rant'...thanking them and telling them they were good boxing fans, in spite of their constant booing him. Can't blame them for cheering for their hometown boy. I thought Paulie won by a small margin. Diaz fought with heart.

Never been a Paulie fan either, kid really doesn't have much, but one poster mentioned the look on Diaz's face during the call and was just as surprised as the commentators and Paulie was. I thought the crowd was inconsiderate. I don't blame him for dissing the boxing commission. I bet $ was involved. I could be wrong but I'm su****ious.

"He also complains about not getting opportunities but he has already had them against Hatton and Cotto."
Why would he want a rematch with these guys? They both woulda beat him even worse a 2nd time, more than likely.

            .
I didn't mean that he wants rematches with them but Malignaggi said he hadn't been given any opportunities which I felt was quite wrong since he had already fought two of the biggest names in the sport Hatton and Cotto, losing both times.

Even getting the exposure that he got on HBO against Juan Diaz was a bit "lucky" in my opinion because Malignaggi could have very well been forgotten after the bad performance against Hatton. Despite the decision going against him he will likely go onto have some more big fights unless he has ruined his chances with the post-fight comments he made.

I'm not glad Malignaggi lost, but I'm not a fan of his and I don't like they way he cried and whined after what was a very close fight. And like GreatA said, he's definitely been given his share of big fights, even this one right after the disgraceful performance against Hatton.

Completly wrong. That fight was as clear as day. Your improper scoring as well as ignorance of the science of scoring fights is really just unfortunate. Defending improper scoring and biased judges tells me all I need to know about you as a boxing fan.

Juan Diaz out landed Paulie overall in rds 2, 4, 5, 7, 8 and 12. He landed more power punches in 9 rounds, even in 1. JD had over a 50% edge in power punches landed and while I had Paulie edging this one out, 7-5, it was by no means a robbery.

                      My ignorance?

I scored what landed as apose to what did not land, looks like you scored jabs that landed on gloves and slipped punches.

All i need to know about you is that your a Boxing scene lemming who wants to follow everyone else by going overboard and exaggerate on what was an extremely close fight.

Go watch the fight properly son.
