I remember Ray Robinson's words after a travesty of a draw decision against Fullmer. A deserved win would have made him a middleweight champion for a 6th time at 40 years of age. He wasn't bitter at all after being asked how he felt about the decision, saying to his complaining manager that "we have had a couple of close ones go our way in the past".
I felt Floyd Patterson got jobbed in a couple of career-defining fights against Joye Maxim, Jerry Quarry and Jimmy Ellis (which would have made him a 3-time heavyweight champ). He was always sure to congratulate the winner.
