    Nice article.

I remember Ray Robinson's words after a travesty of a draw decision against Fullmer. A deserved win would have made him a middleweight champion for a 6th time at 40 years of age. He wasn't bitter at all after being asked how he felt about the decision, saying to his complaining manager that "we have had a couple of close ones go our way in the past".

I felt Floyd Patterson got jobbed in a couple of career-defining fights against Joye Maxim, Jerry Quarry and Jimmy Ellis (which would have made him a 3-time heavyweight champ). He was always sure to congratulate the winner.

      Exactly.

And to **** on the sport in the process is pathetic imo. The rest of you guys should read that article on Evander.

It is evident that you do not know how to properly score fights, nor do those who had him winning two rounds. He was the rightful winner of the fight.

The guy wants to **** all over Boxing because he did not get the right decision in what was an extremely close fight, was he robbed ? hell no, that fight could of gone to Paulie or Diaz by 1/2 rounds it was that competitive and close. I agree the scorecards were way out of hand but still.... there is no need to trap off like PM did.

The guy acted like a 5 year old it was disgraceful. The little ***** should of showed up for the Hatton fight shouldn't he, because then he would have some where to go wouldn't he. I swear if he channeled all his smack talk into actually fighting he might have beaten Hatto
              No class what so ever.
So telling the truth and expecting to be treaded fairly is disgraceful

I would say he could have gone about it in a better way but really he deserved to win.

I don't really mind Malignaggi's words but in my view he has benefited from the same thing in the past and had nothing to say about it then.

He also complains about not getting opportunities but he has already had them against Hatton and Cotto.

I think its the other way around son. I watch fights intensly close to see what actually lands!!! and then i score it.

Paulie hit gloves and missed with his jab quite a lot, that said i dont begrudge anyone who gave it to Paulie because it was that close, but to categorically think Paulie won means you are the one who did not watch it closely enough.

I just can't see how anyone could have scored the fight for Paulie.

Ok fine, 118-110 was a bad score. But 116-112 and 115-113 weren't bad scores. Paulie lost. He should either demand a rematch in NY or move on.

Robberies are never good for boxing, if you are glad to see someone get robbed then you just expose yourself as a nutthugging fanboy who doesn't care about the sport or legit competition.
