after getting schooled by quintana, he avenged his only loss in great fashion

what has he done after that. i've seen him fight against 3 old guys, the best of them baing a 37 year old boxer coming from a 2 year lay off and a loss

please explain to me: what has he done after beating quintana?

    LOL

his only title defense was a loss... how does that make you p4p #3????

He's been #3 for a while. He shouldn't be that high up until he beats #1 or 2 in a division. Think about it, he hasn't beaten 1 #1 yet (Wright was unranked, not sure if Margarito was #2 or 3) but whatever, it's their opinion so it is what it is.

I'm not going to waste my time defending my opinion with people who aren't going to accept it no matter what I say. Obviously I'm not the only boxing fan who believes Paul is this good. I make my own lists with my own criteria.

I think that's a little high right now based on his accomplishments so far in his career, but he can definitely reach this plateau.

He's in the top 3 for me as well. In the light middleweight division he's rated number 1 according to BoxRec

that is actually a great point that i never thought of.

You literally changed my opinion, the way he is looking for any fights in all these weight classes makes him a legit top 5 p4p until someone takes his fights and beats him

Not sure if you've noticed this, but boxrec rankings are a ****ing joke!..only good thing they serve for is for looking up a fighters resume and seeing when the fights took place.....
