    Something's wrong here, why werent there this many people standing up for Clottey?

    I have confirmed what a few posters are saying. That Paulie Malignaggi's rants on how he was going to get robbed and how the whole world was against him played a psychological role in the minds of all of you. There is a mad outcry going around not only on the judges score cards, but on how Diaz definitely, positively lost that fight. This is a fight that was supposed to be able to go either way, a close fight, but people are saying it was a robbery. The only thing that was a robbery were the judges score cards of 118-110 and maybe 116-112. But the fight itself? I dont know how you can argue that it was a closely contested bout.

    This fight reminds me of the Cotto-Clottey fight. And there was not this much fuss about this fight, not this many people saying Cotto definitely lost, not this much outcry for an investigation, there are people asking if Paulie can file a lawsuit. Should Clottey have taken the Malignaggi route and speak loudly and openly enough to reach ears and hearts of people all over the world? Why not this much backing up of Clottey? He should learn from Malignaggi and throw a fit before and after his next fight because if it ends up being a close fight and he is on the losing end, at least he will have the people on his side.

    Cotto vs Clottey punch stats:

    Cotto- landed 179 of 723(25%)
    Clottey- landed 222 of 622 (36%)

    Clottey outlands Cotto by 43 punches.

    Diaz vs Malignaggi punch stats:
    Malignaggi- landed 191 of 949
    Diaz- landed 178 of 663

    Malignaggi outlands Diaz by 13 punches(if you want to call them that);

    And one more thing, Cotto had a tougher time than Diaz did.

          I felt wow Cotto got the decision the day before the PR parade in NY but I felt that fight was closer and thought Clottey edged it. Not to mention at least it WAS a split decision even though the other 2 cards were a bit hard to swallow. Paulie clearly won and the 2 cards were unreasonable.

            The fight with Cotto alot of people scored it to cotto, and it wasnt the judges who gave the fight to Cotto it was Clottey who gave the fight to Cotto. Idk if Clottey was better than Cotto that night or if it was just the fact that Cotto was cut so early and had difficulty seeing, but Clottey shoulda won that fight but he didnt. He gave it away, Cotto knocked him down, worked the body more, and landed the harder shots! Clottey didnt push it at the end, he coulda hurt cotto but never did.

              Cotto won first of all, the correct scorecards were 115-112 or 114-113, only one swing round, the 116-111 was put of hand. But ultimately Cotto won and he deserved it.

              In the other hand, Paulie won teh fight Clearly, and they didnt even made it seem unbias, they just straight robbed him!!!!!!!!

                SD for Cotto is not robbery by any means. 118-110 for Diaz is highway robbery. Alot of people thought Cotto won. The majority here think Malignaggi won.

                  I'm a huge Cotto fanatic and i always said that Clottey deserved a rematch but Cotto won. I scored it 115-113, with a huge disadvantage( a cut big like a ****'s ass hole), Cotto afforded to win the most important rounds and to land big. Clottey, even though he was much more accurate, was too cautious and didn't take risks to win the important rounds. As a consequence Cotto stole rounds landing big when he was behind. That happened a lot of times( at least in 3 or 4 rounds).

                    115-113 is what most people would say for Cotto. That was not a robbery.
