Look at the first round, Cotto knocked the ghana boy out with a jab.

It played the difference of the fight.

    /thread.

Paulie out boxed Diaz. Clottey did not out box Cotto nor did he do enough for the win.
Co-sign. Exactly my thoughts. It's that plain and simple. Post is precise, short and to the point.

That sounds like the Pacquiao-Marquez 2 fight.

I am a fan of Cotto, Clottey and Diaz. I felt that Clottey won the fight against Cotto, but agree that it could be seen in favor of Cotto. However as a Diaz fan I could not see in anyway how he won that fight, ecspecially by as wide a margin as the scores had it.

I thought Clottey lost, but cotto gets hometown advantage in MSG and in Puerto Rico, same as diaz got last night.

never fight these guys in their hometown unless u plan on KTFOing them.

You did see the title thread, right? I'd merely made a comment about Cotto fans making a raucous about the Pacquiao-Marquez 2 fight when the same thing happened in the in the Cotto-Clottey fight.

Cotto gets that decision wherever the fight is held in America.
Ill tell you why.(aside the fact that he simply won)
If your basing your reasoning on Latinos or Africans (ethnicity) backing up their guy, Then Clottey is out of luck because I know nowhere where Africans outnumber Latinos in any arena.
Cotto gets decision in Las Vegas or Cali., Chicago, Florida, Conn. Atlantic City, Detroit or wherever.
That's one of those convenient excuses. (Trinidad got a decision In Hoya's backyard) Excuse # 2 (the back up) -****** Judges.

6 rounds to 6. 114-114. Minus the point for the knock 114-113 for Cotto. Exactly how I scored it.
