People that are uneducated with boxing know that Diaz lost the fight by a few rounds.

I pickd Diaz to win a close fight but by no means did he win. At worse it should have been a draw and that is the worst that could have happened. I though Diaz would have had a few KD's to win. He never got by Malignaggi's jab to pull it off. As Malignaggi called it, Houston ****ed him over big time.

A lot of people (Dana White) will say this is why boxing is **** and is falling apart. I love the sport but **** like this is pathetic.

I love boxing. More so than MMA, but this type of **** is exactly what's helping MMA gain ground on boxing as far as popularity. What a shame.

They had Gale Van Hoy as one of the judges when Marco Barrera fought Pacquiao for their first fight in San Antonio Texas. It was also GBP's first promoted fight. At the end of the fight where Pacquiao completely blitzed Barrera by every round except the 1st, Gale Van Hoy managed to give Barrera something like 4 rounds out of the 11. Where the hell did Barrera win any round besides the 1st in that annhilation fight? That guy is soo crooked and clearly working for GBP. After all the loud mouth of Paulie and me getting sick of it, he finally makes a point and has good reasoning. 118-110 means, get your ***in eyes checked, and lose your license until you do because that's as good as ANYONE juding the fight. It makes it look like he has ZERO judging experience.

Even buffer was suprised as he announced the winner.I thought paulie was too consistent and he was just outboxing him thru out. Diaz did land more power punches, but I think if Im rite paulie did land more overall punches.as far for whole 12 rounds ,should have gone the other way. AGAIN paulie did accept the fight and he did sign the contract, he should have had a clause in his contract that if the judges he didnt agree with he would pull out but he doesn't have the pull like that cuz no one cares about a paulie mallinaggi.like he said he deals with politics, everyone at their jobs deals with politics and he needed to adjust his style accordingly just like everyday people deal with politics at their job. He should have a different gameplan to knock Diaz out, KNOWINGLY what the circumstances are, but he ain't got no power to do so. If he don't like the sport of boxing change professions , if he doesn't know anything else but know to fite then that's his fault.

Raul (piece of **** caca man) Caiz and Gayle (gay-*******) Van Hoye. I believe any ordinary citizens could do a better job than these miserable ****** judges. Obviously they are showing that they are using their power with the score card to hurt people. I called this as a premeditated crime to hurt the integrity of a person like Paulie Malignaggi, but with this incident Paulie got stronger and I believe a lot of fans are becoming more supported to him.

van hoy is the same piece of **** scumbag that had juarez john a draw. fuvcker should be beaten at the very least. im not a boxer but i can only imagine how painful it would be to get robbed or insulted with a scorecard like that with all the pain & sacrifice you had to put in just for that one night of work.

                Here is his judging record;

I agree that there have been bogus decisions in boxing but that doesn't mean that Boxing should try to do the best to avoid it.

When Paulie opened his mouth before the fight I was one that thought he was acting up but after I did some research regarding this Gale Van Hoy guy that a replacement judge from another state would had been more than appropiate.
The following ar results of Juan Diaz fights only on which Van Hoy voted compared to what other judge voted:

09/06/2008 vs Michael Katsidis (split decision victory)
Van Hoy 116-112 Diaz, others 115-113 Diaz and 113-115 Michael

07/19/2007 vs Fransisco Lorenzo (Unanimous decision victory)
Van Hoy 98-91 Diaz others 98-91 Diaz and 96-93 Diaz

05/10/2003 vs Eleazar Contreras (unanimous Decision victory)
Van Hoy 97-92 Diaz other 2 judges 95-94 Diaz

This a clear pattern of a judge that has always scored the biggest difference in favor of Diaz even if his fellow Judges have seen it closer. The 1st one obviously could had cost Michael a victory or a draw but when the other 2 judges saw a close fight he saw an wide open fight in favor of Diaz.

When Paulie expressed himself before the fight somebody should had giving him the benefit of the doubt and done some research. Remember Paulie not only said judge he called them by their complete names and one of them was Van Hoy.

You never know if the proper corrections were taken we would had avoided this bogus decision and Boxing who had avoided another black eye.

With all the negative aspects that has gone on this year in Boxing (plaster, deaths of Gatti, Forest, Arguello and others,) we have to realize that there are things that can be avoided in order to help the sport that we love.

Boxing should not accept, get over nor move on when these disgraceful decisions happens.

Boxing makes to much money to not care about fighters that risk there life in the ring and spend lots of time away from the family trainig and sacrificing their bodies just to have a clear nonqualified judge screw you in the worst matter capable, that didn't even make an effort to show that he knew something about boxing.

I watched the fight and had Pauli willing a close fight. 7-5.

The freaking out after the fight though may alienate him from other promoters. Pauli basically made GBP look really bad, so they will not deal with him again.

He may have embarrassed the HBO brass enough though so they may try booking him again to make amends.

We will see how this unfolds.
