After the fight with Juan Diaz was over at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, Paulie Malignaggi was furious with the decision. He was very upset with the 118-110 score of Gale Van Hoy. The other two judges had it 115-113 and 116-112 for Diaz. A few days ago on BoxingScene.com, Malignaggi complained about the possible screwjob by Van Hoy. At least we all know wrestling are fixed but in boxing they would try to make it look like you're watching a different fight from the judges, I havent seen this fight but i have been all around different websites and 90% of them scored the fight to paulie M.

This is not the reason boxing is loosing credibility. All judges scored the same fighter the winner. the trouble with boxing is one weight division 4 or more "World Champs" . Boxing needs to consolidate in order to become a credible sport.

time after time, fans are turning their backs from boxing and shifted their interests to MMA, just because of these judges from Malignaggi-Diaz bouts. It was a close fight and a case like this, judges would become bias to their favorite fighter rather than on what in the score card should be. But this Van Hoy was not briefed properly not to become blatant on what agreed about!
