I've got to see more of Jacobs before I say he is the real deal because that was not an overwhelming performance. Smith is a hard guy to look good against, but it seemed like Jacobs' punches had no conviction behind them.

Work on the defense Jacobs. You throw wide and leave your hands low but keep up the good offense

what's with the pitter patty punches golden child. Jacobs is kinda lazy to me especially with his defense, he was lucky ishe is not a big puncher..

Jacobs looked good but he needs to work on his defense. I was really surprised with this fight, any fight with Ishe Smith it's usually boring this turned out to be a pretty entertaining fight.

Jabobs needs to work on stuff for sure, this was the best guy he faced and he responded well. Hopefully he can learn from this fight and improve in the futre, he did fine tonight but he does need to improve. That is why you fight a guy like Smith though.

Yea I was saying the same thing to my boy. I'm like it doesn't even seem like he's trying to put anything behind his punches. But a couple he would just swing wild with his head down. He is still young yet so hopefully he keeps up with good competition but learns everytime. Maybe it was just Ishe's style that made him look that way.
