Danny Jacobs Decisions Ishe Smith Over Ten Rounds

I'm glad HBO put Ishe Smith on the card. Danny Jacobs fought well. Ishe, in my opinion didn't do too much in the first 3 rounds. Ishe didn't do enough to win the fight.

Yes.He fought absolute crap for 17 fights.Last few of them didn't look good.

Altough he won clearly against Smith he didn't look like the mon ster he is built,got wobbled and let's not forget Ishe is really a JMW.

In this fight Jacobs reminded me a little of a young Jermain Taylor with less polish, worse defense, and less power. He backed into the ropes non-stop and looked frustrated with a smaller fighter who kept moving forward, even though Smith wasn't throwing many punches and isn't known as a heavy hitter.

It's a bad sign for a big MW prospect when you're in the ring with a 154 lber with a 43% KO ratio and the HBO crew is giving the smaller guy credit for having more power behind his shots.

Very disappointed with Jacobs last night, and imressed with Smith. I didn't expect Jacobs to look great agianst a guy like Ishe, but he showed many more flaws than I expected.
