    Money killing Boxing

It's all about the Benjamins... professional boxers fight for money, duh! Real hardcore boxers also fight for glory. Nowadays, all they seem to want is advanced paid money. Since the "Oscar vs. TiTo fight" I had always say that fights should be settle in an aproximate 60%-40% purse, give and take a couple of the %. But the WINNER should always take the bigger chunk, not the loser. I remember when TiTo said; "I will do the rematch with the same contract, but the names must be interchanged cause I won the fight." We all know Oscar refused to make less money, even though he could had avenged his defeat by showing everyone that he was better than TiTo. Oscar never agreed to TiTo's terms, and the rematch never took place. No matter what, Oscar will always be a chicken and a ***** in my eyes.

For how long are we, the fans, going to support a sport where the athletes are so selfish??? No longer fights are made for the glory and the legacy that could take boxers to become an ATG. Recently, BHop used the same ****** strategy aginst RJjr. I appreciate when boxers are willing to put their skills where their mouth are at. Celestino challenged JuanMa for a "winner takes all", and even though he talked out of his ass to get the fight, I would respect his attitude over PBF's who only fights for the bigger chunk.

I am sick and tired of these boxers bull****ting us with their ambition. I will PUBLICLY STATE THAT I WILL NOT PAY FOR THE PBF VS. JMM PPV. If I was going to spend money that night, I rather give it to Dana White. **** Money Mayweather! **** Oscar de la Hoya! **** Bernard Hopkins! And **** every single boxer who thinks they deserve to get the bigger slice even if they lose the fight.

Why don't you just type the standard way, your post looks a bit childish with the font you use and effects you activate.

Boxing always has and always will be about money, it just depends on who is getting the bigger cut fighters/semi-crooks/mobsters.

In simple words: if boxer "A" proposes to fight for a 60-40 split, the winner taking 60% and the other fighter "B" says no, it is because boxer "B" is a ****ing *****.

If a boxer truely believe he is better than the other and that he will win, why refuse to fight and let the winner take the bigger chunk??? Money is killing boxing and that is why other bull**** sport like MMA is taking over little by little. On Spetember 19th, the boxing community is goig to be surprised by the numbers that MMA will take away from the PBF's "megafight".

Boxing is showing 1 and maybe 2 good fights per card. (Tonight HBO did a good job with the triple header). Not to mention BoB Aru's PPV's series Latin Fury... In top of that ****, we, the fans, got to constantly read news about our favorite boxers only caring for money instead of giving us the fights we want to see and fights that will make a difference when building up a legacy.

I miss the 80's boxing so much... AND FOR THE RECORD >>> I DON'T WATCH MMA AS I DO WATCH BOXING.

It doesn't really matter to me, I accept reality for what it is and do not need things to be ideal for me to enjoy them. Greed is not a new concept and people wanted money just as much in the past, pro boxing was always a business.

I think we undeerstand each other... I simply choose to publicly let it be known that I don't respect those who put their ambition on top of the good of the sport by being cowards and not fighting to show WHO IS THE BETTER MAN!!!
