If "YOU" were Cotto or Pacquiao's trainer

Hypothetically speaking, if any of you were the trainers of Cotto or Pacquiao what type of fight strategy would you devise for your fighter to employ vs the other fighter.......

    I would prefer intelligent responses

I think the fight plans are pretty obvious for Pacman

Pac can't stand still at all...He's got to use his legs and try to keep Miguel off balance enough to dart in and land flurries and then be gone before Cotto can react....Something like he did with Dela Hoya.

If Manny fights like that Cotto's only choice is to time Manny when he comes in....cut off the ring with smart pressure...punish the body to try to take away the legs...

Throw off Pacmans rhythm with the Jab...He's got to not get frustrated by the fast in and out movement of pacman...keep his jab ready and follow with body head combo's...well that last bit is a given obviously.

Cotto definetly has to work behind his jab.. He has a great strong punishing jab and could mess up Pacs timing and also hurt him with that jab. He also has to go to that body whenever possible. Also I'd like to see him switch to southpaw sometimes to confuse Pac. Pac has to make Cotto respect his power or he's in BIG trouble.. If he cant hurt Cotto with his punches then I believe Cotto will brutalize him.
