Kepp in mind that Cotto would likely never fight this style of fight again. He's normally a very solid defensive fighter that keeps his chin tucked almost the entire fight. He wanted top impress the home crowd by wowing them with a slugfest and it almost backfired. If Cotto keeps coming into the ring at that size, I see him being a signifcant force. Although I think Harris is a bad matchup for him. I think Cotto would be best served to fight the smaller guys, Harris is not a little 140 pounder himself.

After reviewing the fight for a second time, I definately seen it in the temple....

Someone stated earlier Cotto always slugs it out in his hometown but outside of Puerto Rico he isnt as aggressive at such an intense rate. Cotto better pray he doesnt get in their with Vivian or it could get UGLY.

he looked out of it for the whoile round,
his legs where shaking and ****
Corley didn't expose anything new at all!! Cotto reacted the same way any other prize fighter would react if he was clocked on the temple. This should create no doubts what so ever. No one is immune to a shot like that.

What is up with this chin ****!! The kid got caught right on the temple. Again it doesn't take strong puncher to hurt someone there.

All fighters . . . irregardless of stature, hit with a solid powerful punch can go down anytime. It already happened to the best of them. Ali, Foreman, Tyson, Sugar Ray Leonard, Hearns etc etc.

In my opinion he shouldn't fight in P.R. ever again. That crowd played a huge roll in him coming out fighting recklessly the way he did. He'll be fine, This was definitely a learning experience for him. Nothing wrong.
