The Chavez fight is the most overhyped fight in history. Its just a perception fight. Back then I dont think everyone got Floyd's style. If they had that same exact fight right now, everyone would score it as a near shutout for Floyd. Chavez was just throwing but Floyd was blocking everything. He didnt hardly land anything and Floyd was clearly winning every round. Back then it just seemed different because Floyd was blowing other cats out the water and stopping everyone.
