If Juan Manuel Marquez is able to pull off a major upset by beating Floyd Mayweather Jr. on September 19 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, trainer/manager Nacho Beristain would like to see his fighter get a shot at the welterweight title, possibly at a catch-weight. If Marquez is able to beat Mayweather, don't be surprised if the Mexican warrior immediately targets the Manny Pacquiao-Miguel Cotto winner. Pacquiao and Cotto face off for the WBO welterweight title at the catch-weight of 145-pounds, only a pound higher than the catch-weight for Mayweather-Marquez. [details]

An upset is gonna be difficult but not impossible. The pressure is on MAYWEATHER, for a couple of reasons. One Mayweather was the #1 lb4lb before he retired, he's undefeated, and has never been hurt or KO, plus he is the naturally bigger guy. JMM on the other hand, has never fought at this weight class, is the smaller guy and already face defeat. Going into the fight more pressure would be on Mayweather, specially if this becomes competitive and it goes the distance.
