Well, that changes everything. I thought you were saying Toney at heavyweight beats prime Larry Holmes. 1998 Holmes was broken and shot, I'd take Toney by decision.

Povetkin is the future of the division but is still raw and needs to mature. Tua is probably too old and didn't evolve, Dimitrenko is not that good and i din't have the time to watch a Botysov fight.

If you talk about the 1998 Holmes, Toney whoops him easy, for sure.

Why would you use 1998 Holmes who is more then 20 years and a couple retirement/comebacks into his career as a basis for comparision.

Larry Holmes did not even fight in 1998~ and he was 49 at the time, oh and James Toney did not fight in 1998 either and was probably not in very good shape so it would probably be a pick'em fight.

Because he made an ass out of himself and now has to backpedal in a vain attempt to save face.

Anyone reading his earlier posts can see he was talking about prime Holmes, hence the references to the Shavers fights.

This could quite possibly be the worst thread ever, and that is saying a lot. I am not talking just on here either I am talking in the entire history of internet forums.

Yes, isn't it pathetic? How they try to undermine me but always fail. Poet even disappeared yesterday after I set him straight and told him to beat it.
