I am surprised that Mayweather vs Marquez is not more hyped

Its amazing how people trash Floyd for fighting JMM But not Cotto for fighting Pac. Pac fought JMM twice but no one is trashing Cotto. Haters are everywhere on this site.

Part of the difference is Pac has actually looked better and stronger higher up in weight. Marquez has looked slower and weaker. Pac's frame can handle the extra weight and even thrive with it. Marquez has looked like he is fighting in water since he moved up in weight.

I understand marquez called him out, but floyd wasnt forced to take the fight. He has been called out before and decided not to accept the challenge for whatever reason. Him coming back and not fighting a top welterweight is not only gonna not prove anything, but its going to add more controversy to his legacy.

Marquez didnt look slower or looked to have a weaker chin at 135 to me, he looked fast and packed a punch if you ask me. Nobody wants to bring up the fact that he moved up and knocked out two champions who never been knocked out, had this been someone other than Floyd fighting JMM you wouldnt hear all this. People say they want Floyd to fight Pac but Pac fought JMM twice and Floyd is too big? Please.

Huge Cotto can fight Pac, you hear nothing about size, huge Oscar can fight Floyd, nobody felt sorry for Floyd nor said Oscar was too big, they prayed and hoped Floyd would lose, didnt happen.

Pac has already tested 147 and he still good at that weight. While JMM is not yet tested in the higher weight. Pacman is in another level than where Marquez is right now. Mayweather should fight Pac than JMM...

Honestly i am truly amazed that people are downplaying this fight. This fight is super fight and yet it's being treated as big normal fight. 2 of the top 3 P4P fighters in the sport going at it? Mexico's best vs America's best whats not to like?

Yeah Marquez is moving up in weight, but how many other great fighters have moved up successfully in the past? Many elite fighters have done it and will continue to do it. Marquez himself has done it already. Marquez is elite and one of the top 3 P4P guys in Boxing. Marquez like other elite fighters before him have dared to be great. Marquez is doing that by fighting Mayweather.

Mayweather is also taking a risk (People here think that Marquez will be highly affected by weight and i don't see it like that and it is being overplayed).Marquez will come to fight and will force Mayweather to bring out the best in him (Just like Pacman in his fights with him).

Both guys are intelligent, can box/fight and have tons of experience. This will truly be a great fight. I believe people will regret their initial hatred they had for this fight. In fact i am going out on limb and say that this fight will be so good that people will want a rematch.

It should be a good fight but I think ppl are waiting for Floyd vs Pac-Cotto winner.
