I am surprised that Mayweather vs Marquez is not more hyped

Honestly i am truly amazed that people are downplaying this fight. This fight is super fight and yet it's being treated as big normal fight. 2 of the top 3 P4P fighters in the sport going at it? Mexico's best vs America's best whats not to like?

Yeah Marquez is moving up in weight, but how many other great fighters have moved up successfully in the past? Many elite fighters have done it and will continue to do it. Marquez himself has done it already. Marquez is elite and one of the top 3 P4P guys in Boxing. Marquez like other elite fighters before him have dared to be great. Marquez is doing that by fighting Mayweather.

Mayweather is also taking a risk (People here think that Marquez will be highly affected by weight and i don't see it like that and it is being overplayed).Marquez will come to fight and will force Mayweather to bring out the best in him (Just like Pacman in his fights with him).

Both guys are intelligent, can box/fight and have tons of experience. This will truly be a great fight. I believe people will regret their initial hatred they had for this fight. In fact i am going out on limb and say that this fight will be so good that people will want a rematch.

yea you got a point. But Floyd has so many advantages in this fight its crazy. Iv never seen a superfight billed where someone has such a small chance of winning as Marquez does. People want even fights. Im deff ordering this tho.

Why is it ok for big ass Cotto to fight Pac, but its not ok for Floyd who isnt that much bigger than Marquez?? I dont get it..

And this fight will be hyped when 24/7 starts. Floyd is pretty good at promoting

That's what I was gettin at homey. Despite the circumstances, he challenged Mr boat buyer, and when he was called on it he refused to back down. Point is, in context of the OP, don't try to make this fight sumthin it ain't.

mayweather definitely has the advantage. but im jus sayin, jmm if nething should be lucky and grateful to have this opportunity. he wanted it, and he got it

Even thou everything that has been said about the fight.... The hype will pick up eventually as the date comes closer. I can see the lot of PPV buys close to the air time and probably lots of tickets sold at the arena. This fight will be good I will see it, I have the curiosity of how Floyd will be after retirement and I have always liked JMM so it is going to be a good fight night.

He struggled with Diaz because he couldnt carry the higher weight very well. He was slower, more effected by punches and easier to hit. And now he is moving up even more. His reflexes wont be as good, his speed wont be as good, his punching power wont be as good and his ability to take a shot has already been proven to not be as good (feather fisted Diaz rocked him badly.) Like I said, bull**** fight.

Its amazing how people trash Floyd for fighting JMM But not Cotto for fighting Pac. Pac fought JMM twice but no one is trashing Cotto. Haters are everywhere on this site.
