I can. Chris Byrds fighting style has changed a great deal since their last fight. Byrd now throws alot more punches in the early rounds, and has turned into a more agressive fighter. Plus, we know Wlad has a glass chin, one solid punch from Byrd could do the trick in this fight.

You are exactly right on the money there, Neuraxis. The whole idea of Wlads chin being suspect is preposterous. Especially when you look at each individual knockout on its own.

Sanders' k.o. was legit. No one can argue that. And we can safely assume that ANY heavyweight hit with that same punch would also have gone down.

But Brewster didnt win ****. Wlad was drugged, plain and simple.

The TOS shot was also legit, and Wlad was caught off balance, but he never actually went down from it. He went to a sort of squatting crouch. His ass never hit the canvas.

I dont think Wlad is at all as washed up as some people like to think. Wlad is still a tremendous force in HW division. As is Nicolay Valuev (when will they give this guy a legitamite shot?) and Samuel Peter. Keep your eyes on these guys. And look for Wlad to hold at least one belt (and defend it numerous times) by end of year.

just wanted to mention one thing that pisses me off about byrd:

he states that wlad doesnt deserve a title shot, but tell me this, did fres, golota and mccline deserve one???????

who did fres beat after getting KTFO by tua to get a title shot??
who did golota beat to earn a title shot???
who did mccline beat after losing to wlad to get a title shot?? boswell, a guy who beat NOBODY....

byrd wants to defend against barrett, a guy wlad destroyed and also lost to mesi... so what has barret done to deserve a title shot??? he beat guinn and beck, who have beaten NOBODY

byrd is such a joke, even his own promoter is anxious for him to lose

That fight would probably generate money on pay per view. Wlad will probably need a tune-up match before that occurs though and I just don't see it being against a guy like Moorer who even though has a glass jaw is a southpaw and can punch fairly well.
Yeah but when is Golota vs. Brewster? May? Wlad needs to fight by the end of April, and Golota won't be ready in time. I for one am also hesitant about Wlad fighting any southpaw besides Byrd. But who else is there to fight its seems like the only options are Euros like Valuev and Sam among others.

Wlad should fight Lance Whitaker. Whitaker has been talking smack lately and he needs to be shut up. Anyone who loses to Mccline as bad as Whitaker did should stop their yapping.
