calzaghe just exposed lacy for what he was, the most over-hyped fighter of the last 10 years! i think calzaghe gets too much credit for that performance because we can see now that lacy has very little skills!

yeah Joe took it but also it was traumatic kinda like telling someone who cant sing that they are great and then they go up on stage in front of millions and find out the truth haha

I think this was exactly what happened. Just imagine Lacy before the Calzaghe massacre being told by everyone that he was the next Tyson and that he was easily the best SMW who could ko everyone and now all you have to do is ko this eurobum with a blown up record.....then he gets in there with Joe and it became apparent to Lacy over those 12 rounds how much better Joe really was than him, also that he really was no where near the caliber of fighter Joe was, and wasn't world class.

I like Calzaghe. The first fight I ever watched live was Calzaghe/Kessler, and I loved it. But seriously, can we not have an objective conversation without all the bias from the onset?

Lacy was never anything special. The fact that he is the biggest win on Joe's resume speaks for itself.
