Does a good undercard influence PPV buys?

    MMA cards are more stacked than Boxing cards because it isn't a very old sport and it's up-and-coming, therefore there aren't many fighters in the sport. Plus, all fighters in the UFC are under contract unlike in Boxing where you have divas like Floyd and JuanMa making crazy demands before signing a fight.

      Hell yeah it does. I'll 100% bet you that Arum will throw dog **** on the Pacquiao-Cotto undercard and I won't be buying. I'll order the Mayweather-JMM fight, because I'm interested in it period along with it having a good undercard to it.

        You're not a casual fan, though. . I'm sure a good undercard strongly influences your decision in buying a PPV.

            Nah it doesn't. I don't really think it even does with the die hards, cause with us, even if it's a **** undercard, at the end of the day we'll buy it cause we just love the sport.

            With casual's, they only care about the main event. So the only difference an undercard makes is making the $50 the die-hards shell out easier to swallow.
